Be the change

For every deed you have done for others, even it is so small, even it is so insignificant that you yourselves might have forgotten that, Allah remembers.

Sincerity can't be seen, but it can be felt. Allah knows.

Why we rant?

Because we feel like nobody appreciates what we've done for them?
Because we receive so little compared to what we've given?
Because we see others possess a lot more than they should have gotten?
Because we know we deserve a lot better than what we already have now?

Come on, love. You're not doing a justice to your Creator.

Husnul zhon, love. Husnul zhon.

If you want more, you've got to be a lot more grateful than you already are. Thank Allah for your every wish He granted, thank Allah for every mistake you made for it's another lesson to be learned, thank Allah for every person He lent you for He might take them back from you at anytime.

Too often we want people to change for us. How about we start being the change we want to see in others?

Too often we ask Allah to grant our wish, how about we start living in modesty and be thankful for every single thing He gave us - in hope He will grant us a lot more in the future?

I visited an orphanage center last saturday, it's such an eye opener experience, peeps. It made me realize that my life isn't that bad. Well, it is not bad at all to tell you the truth.

You know what, for every single thing you're thankful for, Allah grants you double. Or triple. Or even quadruple. Trust me.

And Allah doesn't put you through test you cannot bear. When you're in trouble, seek Allah's help. Believe in Him, He shall never leave you in distress. :)

I am no ustazah. I rant a lot too. I sometimes forgot to thank Allah.

But, let this be a starting point. For me, for you, for us to change. Change to be better. Change for the betterment.

It's okay to slip off sometimes, but make sure you'll be back on track soon. Bounce and start over. It's never too late.

Happy awal Muharram, friends.

Remember, Allah knows. :)
